Remembering Ruthie Rescue (RRR) was started in memory of Ruthie, a rescue puppy that was being fostered, who passed away on May 26, 2012 from parvo. Parvovirus is a contagious virus mainly affecting dogs that is spread from dog to dog by direct or indirect contact with their feces. Parvo is easily prevented through an initial vaccination and boosters until the puppy is at least 14 weeks old.
