Last Chance Corral is a great cause that we have partnered with in our Click to Donate program who we could probably raise a lot more money for, but they aren’t quite as aggressive in getting people to click on their cause.
Nevertheless, here is some more detailed info on what they are trying to do. Today, the Last Chance Corral proudly offers horses hope, shelter, and opportunity regardless of their situation or problems. Be it psychological or physiological they are committed to addressing the individual needs of each rescued animal. Their work begins with developing an individual diet, treatment regiments, and a training program for each horse according to its needs. When a horse has been sufficiently rehabilitated we go about the work of finding appropriate adoptive homes that suit the horse's needs and abilities.

There was a documentary called: Born to Die that tells the story of the cruel secret that some in the various equine breeding industries don’t like to acknowledge or talk about: Every year during breeding season, hours-old, non-pedigreed foals are taken from their mothers, whose job is to be a nurse mare to a pedigree foal.
